Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. Breaks Ground on Weston Park at Longwood Station

LONGWOOD, FLA. (December 10, 2014) - Construction manager Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. broke ground December 10 for Weston Park at Longwood Station, a four-story, 208-unit apartment community, under its $18.5 million contract with Altamonte Springs-based Weston Park, LP. Located at 103 E. Church St., directly across the street from Longwood's SunRail station, Weston Park was designed by Associated Consulting International (ACi), Winter Park. Slated for completion in February 2016, Weston Park offers one, two and three bedroom apartments complete with upscale amenities as well as a two-level parking garage.

Kennedy, Inc. broke ground October 22 for Unicorp's $6.2 million, 60-unit Casa Mirella Apartments, Phase 2, having completed the $18 million, 216-unit initial phase ahead of schedule in February 2014. Located at 101 Casa Mirella Way, Windermere, and designed by Slocum Platts Architects, P.A., Winter Park, Casa Mirella sets the new standard of residential rental living according to its website, featuring plush landscaping, a state-of-the-art clubhouse, fitness facility and a resort-style pool. Also included are granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, spacious floor plans, garage buildings and more. GAINESVILLE, FLA. (Sept. 5, 2014) - Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. completed the construction of Trimark Properties' new Savion Park Luxury Apartments, an upscale five-story, 55-unit student housing apartment building at 719 SW 5th Avenue, Gainesville. The Orlando-based construction manager performed the work under an $8.5 million contract with Midtown Properties of Gainesville, LLC. Designed by Skinner Vignola McLean, Inc., Gainesville, the apartment community offers floor plans ranging from studio apartments to four bedroom apartments and townhouses. In addition, apartments feature floor to ceiling windows in select units, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, ethernet ports in every bedroom, a convenience elevator, resident parking and more.

ORLANDO, FLA. – Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. broke ground September 2 on the new $11.6 million, 7-story Westgate Lakes Resort Parking Garage located at 10000 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando, and The Exchange at Savannah Park, an $11.7 million, 138-unit apartment community in Sanford. Designed by General Design and Restoration, Branson, Mo., the 220,000-square-foot garage will contain 472 parking spaces, a pedestrian bridge and guard house when completed in May 2015. Kennedy has constructed nearly $300 million of projects at Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando and Westgate Resort in Kissimmee. The Exchange, located at 5724 Byron Anthony Place, was designed by ORA Architects, Raleigh, N.C., and is slated for completion in August 2015. In addition, Kennedy completed Unicorp's Casa Mirella Apartments, a new $18 million, 216-unit gated rental community at 101 Casa Mirella Way, Windermere, designed by Slocum Platts Architects, P.A., Winter Park.
