Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. Breaks Ground for Heritage Village Commons and Completes Project In Kissimmee

LONGWOOD, FLA. (January 26, 2015) - Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. broke ground January 20 for the new $10.8 million, 123-unit Heritage Village Commons senior housing adjacent to its newly-started Weston Park at Longwood Station apartments located across the street from Longwood's SunRail station. Developed by Heritage Village at Longwood, Ltd., Altamonte Springs, and designed by Associated Consulting International (ACi), Winter Park, the four-story project is located at 247 Orange Avenue and is slated for completion in January 2016. Also in January, Kennedy completed CLC World Resorts & Hotels' $35 million Regal Oaks Resort vacation club and timeshare including its two-story, 21,151 square foot clubhouse and pool at 5780 Golden Hawk Way, adjacent to Kissimmee's Old Town attraction.
Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. Constructing 7-Story Westgate Lakes Retail Village at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, Orlando

ORLANDO, FLA. (January 12, 2015) – Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. is constructing the new 7-story Westgate Lakes Retail Village at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, 10000 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando, under its $11.6 million contract with Westgate Resorts, Ltd. Designed by General Design and Restoration, Branson, Mo., the 220,000-square-foot center will feature an 80-foot-high penthouse restaurant, Edge Steakhouse, a Drafts Sports Bar and Grill, Joe's Marketplace and Deli, 32,000 square feet of meeting space, 472 parking spaces, and more. Kennedy has constructed nearly $300 million of projects at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando and Westgate Resort in Kissimmee. Westgate Lakes Retail Village is slated for completion in May 2015.

LONGWOOD, FLA. (December 10, 2014) - Construction manager Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. broke ground December 10 for Weston Park at Longwood Station, a four-story, 208-unit apartment community, under its $18.5 million contract with Altamonte Springs-based Weston Park, LP. Located at 103 E. Church St., directly across the street from Longwood's SunRail station, Weston Park was designed by Associated Consulting International (ACi), Winter Park. Slated for completion in February 2016, Weston Park offers one, two and three bedroom apartments complete with upscale amenities as well as a two-level parking garage.

Kennedy, Inc. broke ground October 22 for Unicorp's $6.2 million, 60-unit Casa Mirella Apartments, Phase 2, having completed the $18 million, 216-unit initial phase ahead of schedule in February 2014. Located at 101 Casa Mirella Way, Windermere, and designed by Slocum Platts Architects, P.A., Winter Park, Casa Mirella sets the new standard of residential rental living according to its website, featuring plush landscaping, a state-of-the-art clubhouse, fitness facility and a resort-style pool. Also included are granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, spacious floor plans, garage buildings and more.
